"The place was so beautiful, the old house was charming and every space was beautifully decorated creating a serene atmosphere. The room was really cozy with a warm blanket so it wasn’t too cold at night. The breakfast was really good. Staff was also freindly and helpful."

"Amazing rooms, warm, great hot water (best hot water ever I’ve had in Nepal), amazing breakfasts, best coffee, and best staff - staff were so helpful. If I asked for laundry, it was done in one day and very cheap. If I asked for a car, it was there immediately and well priced. Staff were so kind and flexible."

"It was a traditional house with so much history that had been done up beautifully for guests.the staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. We really would highly recommend the early morning tour with the superb guide Bikram organised through the peacock guest house"

"Peacock guesthouse is truly one of a kind! The history of the place is so incredible. Wood carving everywhere and incredibly atmospheric rooms and cafe. Breakfast was delicious. But what really makes this property are the owners. They went above and beyond organising laundry, giving advice on exploring the area on foot. Loved the trek from Changu Narayan to Telkot. And arranging transport back to Patan. Thanks so much for everything!"

"If you’re a light sleeper, request a courtyard room! The motorbikes are noisy in Baktapur. The courtyard room was perfectly quiet!"
