"The room was spacious for a single double and had a really lovely view. The location was great, only about 15 minutes from the city centre in Tromsø. The highlight was being able to see the auroras right outside on our final night, and the cleaning staff were very friendly and polite."

"It was near the city center. Walking was manageable apart from the difficulty of walking on steep roads with snow. Transport to the accommodation was easy to manage. The comfort room was clean."

"The shared spaces were a bit grotty. Stains in the shared bathroom and discarded food in the kitchen sink. This may be a product of other guests in the shared bedsit. The washing machines both sat fully loaded the full time I was there. Bits of trim were hanging off in the kitchen. The bed room was marked and stained, as were the bedsheets. I believe they have been washed but we’re just old and a bit tatty. It was the cheapest place available to book in Tromsø but I wouldn’t call it a bargain."

"I had an enjoyable and comfortable stay overall. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the centre of Tromsø, and the views when walking through the neighbourhood are really beautiful. The heating deserves a special mention — it worked perfectly and kept the room warm and cosy throughout the entire day, which is very important in this climate. The pre-arrival information was clear and extremely helpful. In particular, the tip about taking bus number 24 was invaluable. I would never have found it on my own, as the bus stop is hidden behind the airport parking area, so that advice made arrival much easier and stress-free."

"As a small piece of feedback, it would be great if a full-size bath towel were provided instead of only a small one. A few kitchen items could also use replacement, even though they still function fine, and perhaps a bit more attention could be given to cleaning. That said, these are minor points, and overall the stay was comfortable, pleasant, and well-organised. I would happily stay here again."

"I’m from Poland so all prices in Norway are extremly high for us, so I could not afford a hotel. Thank to them I was able make my dream come true, visit this beatifull place and see Nothern Lights on my own. Owners were nice and helpfull. Place was clean. It was the best adventure of my life, and I’m sure these memories will stay with me forever."

"This is possibly the worst place i've ever stayed. We left after the first night, the only reason we didn't leave that night is because it was so late. We rebooked elsewhere and ive been in commubnication with them to offer a refund for the nights not stayed. They are being very difficult but honestly, this place should not be allowed on Booking.com. Nothing about this place was good, it was WILDLY over-proced for the most vile place. It's literally day light robbery and they are so unapologetic about it, we booked a place elsewhere on the main street for the same price that was stunning and private."

The room had two single beds that leaned to one side, they weren't even really mattresses, just bits of foam. The room stunk, the whole place had a stench. No door where properly labelled and i kept accidently walking into peoples rooms which made us feeling incredibly unsafe. The paint and decor is all chipped and old which added to the feeling of neglect. Not too mention its incredibly loud. I understand Tromsø is expensive but this is a joke, for what you get compared to other properties offering a lot more, its vile that they can get away with this."

"The towel supplied was a hand towel not a proper bath towel. The desk in my room had just been painted and apart from the room smelling of paint the owner was concerned I was going to mark the wet paint 🙄. It seems like the place is still being renovated and it’s a bit messy."
