"Large, comfortable room with private patio. Lovely food both evening and breakfast. Delightful bar and restaurant area with helpful staff. Lush, green gardens with birds, lizards and butterflies. Good for swimming in the lake. Kayaks available for free."

"Poor sound insulation in our room. Sounded like there was an elephant overhead, plus could hear conversations at reception! Would definitely stay again, regardless."

"Great location and tranquil atmosphere, delicious breakfast . We were the only ones there on a Tuesday, lovely access to the Laguna and surrounded by lush nature. Full moon made it even more special."

"Staff was super nice and attentive. It‘s a pet friendly place, so we had a great time with our dog. Food and drinks were very delicious"

"The room was badly ventilated, even though it has a fan and aircondition (extra charge!) air feels stuck. Air con is directed right at the bed, but fan doesn‘t reach the bed. There is no Wifi signal in the room."

"A very nice stay at a family run lodging. It was an enjoyable experience. Their home was in a pleasant residential neighborhood with several local dining places within walking distance. It is also only a 20 to 30 minute walk to the UCA bus station, from where you can take buses to Leon or Granada."

"Immersed in the forest around Mombacho Volcano, lots of birdlife and howler monkeys plums an interesting night walk with the chef, seeing sloths, snakes and lizards. Limited food menu but all very good and freshly prepared. Great breakfast too. Accommodation is rustic but this is what this lodge is all about !"

"El Pacifico is a great, great value for what you pay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and offered a great breakfast. The only drawback was that there are no screens on the windows, so with no air conditioning, windows needed to be open and mosquitoes found their way. Otherwise, would recommend and stay again."
