"As all other hotels and Lodges we have visited in Namibia so far they have all got excellent reviews from me. So with Hotel Minen. We enjoyed some beer in the very nice garden. Dinner was good, so was breakfast. Swimming pool looked really nice. We did not use it. Great staff. Everything was fine."

"Very easy to find when driving yourself. Walking distance from main street. Beautiful garden to have few biers and great - and clean - swimming pool."

"Unfortunately I had 20+ mosquitoes in my room and no mosquito net present. Also parking is on the street with a guard."
"The food wasn't what we expected. We had eg oxtail .. it was tough.. we were very disappointed. The breakfast omelet was sooo dry and overcooked .. I couldn't eat it... send it almost untouched back. We had yo go back to reception to ask for complimentary coffee and tea.. I suggest you should give these when you hand over the room's key. The fridge in the room needs to be defrosted more often.. we couldn't even put any ice in the small freezer department. The staff were very friendly and competent. The room's were nice.. clean and comfortable. Thank you."

"Room was fair sized, in the courtyard by the pool, room. 201. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpfull. No issues with the evening meal and for breakfast there was a good selection on offer, nicely prepared poached egg."
"Had to go to reception to ask for tea/coffee for the room. I did not. Don't know the reason for this, but may suggest reception ask you on check in if you want tea and coffee for the room."
