"I only booked this place as a stop off between my flight and moving onwards. It was just what I needed. Really friendly staff. I'v forgotten their names, but I think they were the nieces of the owner. So helpful and welcoming. One was the shuttle driver. Id recommend using their shuttle service. So easy and no hassle. And you can learn so much about Malawi and Lilongwe from her before you arrive at Ayonthoo. Really clean and tidy place. Tasty, basic breakfast. I'm staying there again, the night before I fly out of Malawi."

"My wife and I had a lovely stay at Ayonthoo! in the quiet outskirts of Area 43. Even without a vehicle, Ayonthoo! is an easy distance from places of interest in Lilongwe whether by taxi, motorbike taxi or public transport. Karen, the owner's niece, and her staff were warm, helpful and hospitable. Our en-suite room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Drinking water is on tap. Having our laundry done gratis was a pleasant surprise. The Google Map address is accurate. Highly recommended."

"We liked everything about the property from outside the yard to the interior. Cleanliness , furniture, out of this world. The pics you see on the App it’s true representation of the property. Rooms are very very big. Comfortable bed. When it comes to linen, it’s a WOW!!! I wonder where they buy them😳. You can feel the softness and durability in your hands. 100% plus hotel linen, it’s in the range of Egyptian linen. Safety is a guarantee! The Staff is a Plus. They know how to make their guests feel at home. The guy who served Breakfast, WOW WOW WOW🥳. Neighbourhood will make you feel safe 10/10✅. I rate this establishment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
