"Maltese Balconey is a wonderful property. It is in a beautiful location at St Julian’s Bay, positioned to be able watch the sun rise over the bay. It is close to buses, beach, shopping and all the bay offers. It is beautifully presented- clean, nicely styled, all you could need and then some little extras which as a lovely touch. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and well catered for. Roger welcomed me with lots of information & clear instructions on how things worked. I would highly recommend Maltese Balcony to anyone looking for a really excellent accommodation near to Valletta which has everything you might need."

"Having booked Nunzio, the taxi owner who warmly greeted us at the airport and as recommended by our host, he telephoned ahead and Roger was waiting for us at the apartment. Such a wonderful welcome to Malta, our host was clearly proud of both the apartment and the island, both of which did not fail to disappoint. Although St Julian's is very busy it does not intrude on the comfort of the apartment, which is clean and has super comfortable beds. You can welcome the hustle and bustle inside by sitting out on the balcony, or simply close the doors behind you for a quiet evening. St Julian's is ideally placed for easy access to Valletta and the surrounding areas and we used public transport to get to most of our destinations. It doesn't always run on time but that sort of adds to the adventure of getting about the island. Would highly recommend the apartment and St Julian's for families and couples alike and as a perfect base for exploring further afield."

"This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is very comfortable and welcoming. It has a pleasant balcony overlooking the bay. It is close to transport, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Joanna ensured that we had everything we needed and recommended a driver from and to the airport. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment."

"Amazing property, the view from balcony is one of the best. Such a great location and easy to get to all points in Malta. Host is amazing and very friendly and checks in during trip. Size of apartment is great, and everything is nice and spacious and new. We loved staying here for 4 nights, and we will definately be back."

"Honestly, we could not have been happier. The location was exactly what we wanted; in the hustle and bustle of a town (no issues with noise though), a fabulous view, and literally across the road from good swimming and suprisingly good snorkeling (arguable better than the Blue Lagoon which we visited). We loved Malta and starting the day with a coffee watching the sunrise, then returning from our day to go for a quick and easy swimming and chilling on the balcony was the icing on the cake - not to be missed. Lots of nearby bars and restaurants to enjoy. Apartment as a whole was spacious, clean and well-presented. The owner was friendly and very helpful. Our guidebook said parking in Malta was a nightmare and we nearly didn't hire a car, but we were always able to find somewhere within a couple of minutes walk."

"This is a little gem of a find! The location is fantastic with amazing view over the bay. The contact from the host was second to none. Roger reached out to us before we even arrived to provide us with a guide to Malta and the property. He also booked a taxi for us. He then stayed in touch to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The apartment is so clean, spacious and very well equipped, even has things that you wouldn't expect. Those little things you may have forgotten ... shoe polish, after sun etc. We had a lovely stay."

"The friendliest and most welcoming hostess in the world!) Adapted to all our needs. Cleaning every day. Need more towels? Want a different breakfast? Forgot your shampoo? She is ready to help with all this immediately. The location of the guest house is ideal, quiet, a few minutes walk from the center of the village. The beach is a little far, but such is the location of the village. You can rent any transport of your choice, or order a taxi. I recommend visiting to anyone looking for a quiet holiday."

"Big terraced town house, ideal for 2 pairs, because every bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet. Each bedroom is on different floor, it's not ideal for families with small children. House is in quiet area, with quiet neighbors. Shop 24/7 is 10 min walk and Bakery with typical Maltese pastries is just around the corner, 2 min walk, open every day. Parking with rental car is problematic in all Malta, sometimes you need to park far away from house. But bus stop is just 5 min walk and buses go often. To go to Valletta we recommend to use a bus. House has no garden, but nice big roof top terrace with plastic terrace chairs and table. Every window has curtains or window blinds and every room has air condition. Kitchen is fully equipped (cattle, microwave, dishwasher, oven, lever coffee maker, freezer, raclette grill, refrigerator, scale, kitchen hood). Towels and soaps in bathrooms are available. For colder nights you can use air condition and warm blankets."
