"The Riad was lovely and exceptionally clean, it had good sized rooms and the ladies that worked there were very friendly. A good breakfast was provided each morning. The best part about the Riad is the rooftop top terrace! We were a group of 9 friends and there is space for all of us to eat and relax."

"The stay at Riad L’empire was amazing! The location was brilliant, close by to everything, the property was very beautiful, family friendly and we felt at home! "La ubicación, el hecho de tener la casa entera para nuestro grupo, el jacuzzi, y la atención de Aziza por las mañanas. desayunos buenísimos con bizcochos caseros, panes frescos, zumos de naranja naturales."

"Wonderful stay! Our host was extremely welcoming, available, and generous throughout our time there. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the riad itself is a beautiful haven in the heart of the desert. A truly memorable experience — highly recommended!"

"The location was just perfect. Nestled among the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, of all the desert camps we saw when doing activities. Merzouga Luxury Desert Camps had the very best location. The staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay in the Sahara Desert. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they answered our every question. They were extremely polite, welcoming and kind and made our stay memorable. All the activities we wanted to do such as camel trekking and Quad biking were right there at our finger tips and organised by the staff whenever we requested something. The camp was so peaceful and the ambience in the desert was surreal. I would recommend a two night stay so you don’t have to rush away and can enjoy the peace and quiet of the desert in a leisurely way."

"So peaceful and welcoming, beautiful home and lovingly managed by the owner, this was a family home until recently and has been converted to a wonderful Riad. Welcome includes mint tea and local tasty pastries, breakfast was varied and so much we couldn't eat it all, try a Moroccan Crepe, so yum! Beds comfy and room spacious, bathroom had everything you need including some toiletries, not suitable for wheelchair users but anyone who can manage stairs will love this place."
