There are fantastic views of the Imlil valley from the terrace & the location is perfect for numerous local walking trails. You can leave stuff at the Lodge if you're heading off for a few days to Toubkal. The food is great, too"

"The lodge is a 40 minute walk up the road from Imlil (taxis are reluctant to take you), but this is no problem if you're carrying a rucksack."

"The best part was the extremely hospitable hosts. Hassan and his family team was always at our beck and call to make sure we had everything we needed and didn't charge us for tea or soup--delicious, hearty harira. We appreciated the well-done decor, traditional but stylish, and enjoyed the tranquility, the spectacular view of the mountains and the starry sky above visible from the balcony and rooftop."

"The only thing we didn't like was the remoteness, a long walk from town with facilities like shops and restaurants, which makes it inconvenient if you don't have your own vehicle."
