""We had an amazing stay at Sanras Hotel! Thank you to Mr. Ranjiith and Wasantha for taking such great care of us and ensuring the breakfast arrangements were perfect. We are very happy with the service. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right across from Jetwing Hotel, and just a short 100-meter walk to the beach. Highly recommend!""

"Wgat made my stay most was the host and his team. Ranjith aiya was an amazing host who is friendly and caring. The facilities were ok, but you can’t expect super luxury for the price you pay. The breakfast was a delight! I asked for Sri Lankan breakfast and im easy to please, so their breakfast spread was great Overall a very good stay."
"The Wifi was not very good. They had to activate it for me and it stopped working the day after but i was ok with my data. No lift can pose an issue with heavy luggage. Didn’t have toiletries so bought my own."
"Super nice host and comfortable, clean room. Perfect to spend a few days for those on budget. It's easy to access the town and Galle Fort but better to get a tuktuk for that."

"Very budget friendly and spacious rooms, with access to balcony. We where provided by amenities we need, like cattle, iron. Our breakfast was done at the roof top place and food was outstanding in traditional Srilanka way, which we very loved. Very friendly staff."

"This is simple accommodation but absolutely perfect and in a lovely setting in the wild."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

"Reasonably priced compared to alternatives in the area. Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."

"Very large spacious room, surrounded by nature. We even had birds with chicks nesting in our ceiling lampshade which was so cute. Our private pool was clean and the perfect spot to chill out after a long day of animal-spotting on safari. We saw leopards, a sloth bear, elephants, crocs - was brilliant!"
