"Really nice hotel. Across the road is the main beach of Mirissa. Convenient location, restaurants, bars within walking distance. Very nice view from the terrace of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. Breakfasts are the same, but you will find something to choose from. Nice staff, always helped with all questions. I have stayed in different places in Mirissa and this hotel is one of the best options."

"This place was insane as the room and the balcony facing the sea were really big. Nice location and close to the restaurants. I just feel that the breakfast could have been better though. Overall, nice experience, welcoming staff and we wish we did an extra night in Mirissa."

Double-check the prices as VAT was written in very small letters at the end of the confirmation email, the initial offer on booking was a bit different than the price we had to pay upon the arrival."

"Hotel Silan Mo is perfectly located in the heart of Mirissa, with plenty of activities and attractions nearby. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with comfortable rooms that offer the bonus of a beautiful ocean view—truly a highlight. The staff are amazing, always going above and beyond to ensure a great stay. The food is delicious, and all the services are excellent. The rooftop pool, offering an uninterrupted view, is probably one of the best in town. Tip for future guests: Please note that the hotel does not operate a lift for the rooms, and the pool is located in a separate building next door. Keep this in mind if you have mobility concerns. Despite this, it’s definitely a fantastic place to stay in Mirissa!"

"This is simple accommodation but absolutely perfect and in a lovely setting in the wild."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."
