"Clean, spacious (if a little dated) rooms with great Wi-Fi and air con and fantastic views over the city. The bed was very comfortable too. It is a little hard to find but if you call the property, the manager will speak to your driver and give him directions. He was also very helpful with arranging travel for us."

"The pool is too shallow to swim in although still nice to have a dip in after a trawl around Kandy."

"Lovely accommodation, up the hill with a nice view of Buddha, the pool is clean and the room feels luxurious. I got messages to confirm I am coming, checking if we are safe otw which is lovely. Down the hill there's a bakery, laundry etc so quite convenient even tho it is not exactly in Kandy city."

"Not the property's fault but google took us the wrong way so we struggled a bit with our driver, the weather was cold so I couldn't really use the pool, also not the property's fault. We feel the pillows could be a bit more comfortable but that's just personal preferences."

"Beautiful, modern room with great a/c. It's a four storey narrow building but there's a lift should you need it. The views are incredible."

"Not a negative, just note the road to the hotel is extremely steep. Walkable but you need some degree of fitness/mobility. Ensure your driver takes you right to the hotel because it would be very challenging to walk up the hill with luggage. Hotel at the dead end."

"The property is super clean and facilities in the room are good - lovely bathroom, air con and fan, tea and coffee facilities in the room. We were even able to get our laundry done here! Lovely balcony and view and the pool is good."

"It would have been great if we could have had breakfast at the hotel. It’s a bit out of town and quite close to the main road - but that’s the price you pay for the view (tuk tuks into town are approx 300R)."

"This place is a little out of town and up a steep hill. It's misplaced on Google maps with a difficult name but it's 50m to the "Kandy Royal Resort" - so use this for the tuktuk to find it. (Otherwise they struggle.)"

"Beautiful property with some exquisite art pieces. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The view was stunning. And the older gentleman who runs the villa would always wait for us at the door to ensure we got home safely every night which we really appreciated as two women travelling alone."

"The location is on the mountain but still close to the city center. Down the hill is right the Kandy Lake. From the house you can see the two budda statues on the other mountain. The room is clean and very quiet. The pool is nice. You can swim there and enjoy the sunset."
