"Very friendly, attentive staff. One of them is a very good cook. A very nice city hotel. Beautiful terrace of the restaurant, with view over the town. Beautiful room with terrace. Comfortable chairs. Shower is separated so that not the whole bathroom is wet."

"I booked a room in this hotel as a last minute solution to extend my Kandy stay and I was very surprised to see it wasn’t full! The whole place is tastefully decorated and is very clean and in a great location if you don’t want to be near the pretty congested Kandy traffic. I was able to do an early check in at 7am in the morning before my Knuckles Range hike with the nearby legend Trekking Expeditor (300m away) and the staff was very proactive and helpful to help me figure out my next travel steps. Breakfast was served on the top floor with nice views and some fun nearby monkey entertainment. I really enjoyed my stay!"

"In terms of location, the place is located close to Maradana railway station and also the Premadasa stadium is just 20-25 minutes walk away. Also lots of transport options, bus, train, tuk-tuk (rickshaw), uber etc are available. The area is also not far from the heart of Colombo."

We also took part in the activities, the village and waterfall walk and a trek in the Knuckles which were both great with very knowledgable guuides. As I am interested in textile crafts, I had asked if a visit to the Umbara weavers could be arranged and they arranged it for me in conjunction with the Knuckles trek, for which I am very greateful. Staff is very friendly and food was good!"
