Xiengthong Villa

"Loved the authentic teak house. The location was excellent, far enough away from the constant crowds and noise but within easy walking. Located a short stoll to the rivers and bars and restaurants. House contained everything for a self sufficient stay if needed and the host was very amiable and easy to contact. Excellent to have a washing machine in the house. Small shop across the street and great coffee shop next door. Several doors up the street was an excellent taxi service whose price was the best."

"Everything about our stay at Xiengthong Villa was great. We loved how spacious it was with everything you could possibly need. It was great having a washing machine and full size fridge. The bed was very comfortable and just loved the plump pillows, 2 each even! Tak Bat is right on your doorstep, and a lovely little family run Lais Restauranr right next door with great food and a world of charm. Highly recommend a stay at Xiengthong Villa."

"the location is perfect (only sometimes the drums from the temple will wake you up very early in the morning). The house itself is very cozy and comfortable. I was working remotely in the living room with aircon and a big table. Almost everything is within walking distance and very quiet at night. Highly recommended place to stay :-)"

"We stayed 10 days and loved every moment. We loved having the privacy of our own place, it is a full house on two levels, with living room and fully equipped kitchen, including a washing machine for clothes, and an extra half bathroom downstairs, with a nice patio. Upstairs is a bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom, with a bathtub and walk in shower, hot water and good pressure, and a balcony with lovely view. Aircons worked very well. Nice wooden floor and pleasantly decorated, spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent, in the calmer end of the historic part of town, between two rivers. Many temples and everything else nearby, the neighbourhood is really lovely and enjoyable. Very good value. The host sent us all the info for check in ahead of our arrival and was easy to reach via whatsapp. We were very happy with our choice of this villa and would love to come back. Highly recommended."
