"Beautiful spot which only opened 2 months ago. Tent was small but comfortable. Flushing toilet and warm ish shower, but just right for the place. The owner cooked a beautiful evening meal with 3 dishes, so make sure you ask for the evening meal. We had then a camp fire and chatted into the evening with the other campers. In the morning we walked to the camping higher viewpoint for the sunrise and were above the clouds, so beautiful.
Highly recommend and such friendly owner looking after you a great discovery."
"Luang Prabang is such a special, magical place, and Chaluenxay Boutique Hotel was the perfect base to experience it all. The location is absolutely amazing—right on the same street as the National Museum and surrounded by stunning temples, the night market, and Phousi Hill. I stayed in a wonderful first-floor room with a balcony that was incredibly comfortable, and having free coffee and water available all day was such a thoughtful touch.
The staff here are all so nice, but Robert the manager was a true standout. He was alert, attentive, and deeply professional 24/7, making sure every part of my stay was enjoyable. I’m writing this on my way to the airport feeling so grateful for the care I received. A perfect, soulful stay in a beautiful city!"
"A group of us stayed at Mary’s house and we absolutely loved it, the location was perfect for exploring the area and getting to places within the town. The property was clean, comfy and spacious which was a nice change from a hostel. We also loved being able to use the washing machine and have an area to dry our clothes and the quality of towels and duvet set was lovely, Mary herself was very inviting and accommodating for us!"
