Inca Motel

"Good location, steady walk to attractions - parkland etc. and easy to get to the main station to access more remote items. Hah, I mixed up the booking and thought I'd paid before we arrived. The poor staff member had to explain to me my mistake, with little English/Korean. She did superbly, and we ended wonderfully. I bought the two staffers a scarf each (my wife picked them!) as they were so good. A 500 m walk from main rail station. A nice spot near the creek/canal. Perfect staff. Well placed for us. Very economic."

"The hotel is well located, it is +5 mins walk to the shopping street and to the Daejeon subway & KTX station. The check in/out process is simple and fast. The room is spacious and well maintained. Toiletries are fully equipped and well provided. The bed is decent and firm. The host is very helpfully even thought we have a language barrier."

"Would definitely prefer the housekeeper checked the windows were closed properly as it invited mosquitos into the room. Killed more than dozen mosquitos (they do provide odorless bug spray - which is actually quite effective)."

"The Inca Motel was walking distance to subway and entertainment/street food. Breakfast included was a nice bonus. The room, although a little different, were clean, had an outside area to sit, (no view tho), staff were friendly and it was good value. We enjoyed our stay."

"Towels aren't provided. A "shower towel" is provided which is like a long chux wipe. They did provide hand towels, which we used for towels"

"We only stayed one night as we were short on time in traveling to Seoul - The Inca was situated at the edge of Daejeon where there was little in the way of tourist accommodation and we were a bit sceptical as to how good it would be. It was a great place for a short stop and we would have booked other nights there if we needed to. The staff were very helpful and gave us a free upgrade to a delux room as they were not too busy on that night. Great value for money and the biggest room we had while in Korea."

"Booking in was after 6.00pm (IIRC) which was a bit of a drag as we would have appreciated sorting our baggage out earlier in the day. If you are looking for a good stop over don't overlook the Inca."
