Damp throughout, peeling paint, and a persistent smell. No amount of cleaning can compensate for what clearly requires proper fixing and maintenance."

"Sand was of poor quality, felt like it had been shipped in - not like the sand on the other beaches in Koh Rong."

"The room was very spacious with two double beds and still plenty of space to move around. The aesthetic and setting are fantastic, very private and with its own bar, great pool, beachfront, and even pier. The host/manager could not have been more accommodating for us, very responsive via WhatsApp and arranging for pickup of our luggage upon arrival as well as very early morning pickup on our day of departure. I also missed that full payment was required on check-in and didn’t have enough cash (there are no ATMs on the island) but he was very understanding of this and offered several ways to sort this out without any pressure whatsoever. We also arranged a boat trip via the hotel which picked up at our pier which we would definitely recommend doing"

"The location is between Koh Touch and Longset beaches (although I’m not sure if Longset is walkable) so it can take a few minutes to walk to other restaurants, bars, and shops. The pathway to get there is not completely connected so very uneven, walking over sand, broken concrete etc. This is no fault of the hotel but something to bear in mind if your mobility is limited Mosquito nets over the beds would have been useful as we were bitten a lot in our time there"

"There was a rat in our room and constant chewing noises from the walls during the night. A monkey entered the room through an open window, stole my medicine box, and made a mess. The beach under the treehouse was full of garbage left after evening parties, which was not regularly cleaned. The hotel feels outdated and in need of renovation. The room had very limited furniture: missing shelves, wardrobe, and minibar. Cold drinking water was not available, which would have been welcome after hot days. Overall, poor maintenance and safety issues made the stay unpleasant."

"The concept of being in a tree house is cool and the location between the two beaches makes it handy to go to either. There are lots of lizards in the room"

"It is a literal treehouse made of wood. There are termites in the wood which made us feel anxious for our safety and the tree house had holes in the floor where you can see the ground. The bathroom was made out of wood so water from the shower seeped into the walls which made the wood rot, making it feel more unstable."
