"I had to go to Tabaka for work and Itibo proved the perfect solution as I did not want to stay in Kisii and there are not hotels in Tabaka and Itibo is exactly half way between the two. It is very quiet and peaceful as there are no bars near so the nights were perfect. I was travelling alone and felt very safe and secure here. The Manager and his team were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautifully kept and the little cottage I stayed in had plenty of hot water and was spotlessly clean. All in all Itobo was great and when I go back I will definitely return."

"A wonderful and a quiet place. The room is beautiful and comfortable and especially the bed. Great shower and toilet room. The place is surrounded by trees and its cool. Not far from the Bomet-Kaplong road but far enough to be shielded from the traffic noise. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They assisted us move our belongings to the room as well as moving it to the vehicle. They have a secure parking and a gated facility. The chipping of the birds in the trees is very relaxing and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, filling and yummy. We enjoyed our one night stopover. It's highly recommended."

"Lovely stay situated nearby Nyali beach. Faculties in the room were a bit basic but were nice and did the job. The pool area was lovely (which we basically had to our selves) The host and staff at the facility deserve a special mention as they were incredibly helpful and hospitable for our entire stay and ensured we had a wonderful time."

"Staff is really friendly! Specially the people working in the restaurant, bar and the boy at the pool. They are always very willing to help and make your stay special. The place offers incredible views over the Mida creek. The swimming pool area is lovely, the garden is beautiful and well maintained. The food is great, there are plenty delicious options that were well prepared and presented. There is a boat transfer that is free to use between Lichthuis and the hotel, which is very convenient."
