"Everything. Very beautifully-renovated tradition Machiya houses in a small laneway. Our host has amazing taste and catered for absolutely everything, including things we had no idea we needed (herbal warming eye-steam mask, anyone?). Loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat."

"Woodbegoodinn was truly a relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Ryoko warmly welcomed us upon arrival and cooked the most nutritious and comforting meals, using ingredients that were mostly grown in their farm (they also make their own miso, which is amazing). The cabin was cozy and built with intention. Beds and pillows were comfortable and we loved that there was a short forest trail, which was just a 3-4 minute walk away from the property. We felt truly relaxed and we wish we could stay longer!"

"This is a fantastic house. It's got evertything you need for your stay and you won't want to leave. The design and the attention that was given to the decor is amazing. We enjoyed the barbecue and the sauna very much. There are two rooms: one with a double bed and the other has 3-4 single beds. They're close to each other and as in most Japanese houses the acoustic is not great, so you don't have a lot of privacy between rooms. Apart from that, the house is great and we wanted to stay longer."
