"The location is perfect, about 3 mins from the train station entrance. The staff were great too. The room is okay, The good thing is that there is a toilet inside your room so that's nice. There was always toilet paper and it was clean, no bad smells too. You have a safe box but you need to carry your own locker. I was scared from all the other rewievs but i was so relieved when i got hot water in the bath(you need to let it run for like 15 mins to get hot water )."

"The water thing definitely needs to be fixed. No hangers too. Other things were okay i guess, when you have a room with 5 more people it cant be cleaner."

"What I liked the most was the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom, and also the people who shared the room with me. The man at the reception was very nice and helpful. The area was also great because it’s in the center and close to bus and metro stations that take you anywhere in Rome."

"I am this place's oldest customer - 25 years of staying. Some years are better than others, but the place is consistently IMPROVING in recent years. * Very clean room * Quiter than usual (I think one of the bars on the main street has closed) * Polite, helpful staff * Wi-fi is excellent. Strong signal on ALL floors (it never used to be!) * Air-Conditioning made the room very cold quickly * The lift has been working for two years now (a record!) * Location is not the prettiest, but the best for travelling and finding for your first time. * A dopo - See you later"

"Slim indian guy at the reception desk is extremelly rude, does not listen what people talk to him and gets agressive talking loud (almost screaming) and disrespectfully when people try to ask for any kind of additional information (which is necessary, since he does not care about what people are asking and answers whatever he interprets) Other people I met at the hostel also complained about him: "what wrong with this guy?" Management should do something about his hostile behaviour (for reference, I'm complaining about the guy working at the desk on june 30 at around 19h30 or so). The rest of the staff is polite. Also overpriced."

"That the staff was putting random people in my room. I paid extra and for privacy. They had an Albanian guy who looking to steal and was so annoying and refuse to take a shower. I had to beg for him to be removed . Other than, everything else was ok"

"I have made many reviews of this place, over many, years (over 20 years I have stayed here) Some of my reviews are good and some not so good. But this Hotel is definitely improving and deserves a MUCH HIGHER rating on Booking. * Location - I do not think there is a closer hotel to Termini. * Lift / Elevator - Has been updated and now works fine (No longer the Victorian death-trap!) * Single Room - Nice size / Super Cold Air Conditioning / Very quiet at night * Wifi - Excellent, reliable signal * Staff - Speak excellent English * Price - Cannot be beaten for what you get. * Fridge - Works fine. Nice and cold A few years ago, this place was definitely going down-hill but I have noticed an improvement recently. Ok, so it is scruffy and "well-worn" but you will not find a better place at this price. I have looked for years and come back to this place every year."
