"We enjoyed this nice studio apartment in the landlord basement. Very bright, clean and quiet place, very well equiped kitchen. Comfy beds. Good bathroom size with washing machine. Excellent wifi signal. Free parking in front of the house. Lovely terrace/garden. Good location next to isafjorour center."

"A very comfortable and cozy apartment with a nice view out to the cliffs across the bay. Well equipped kitchen and nice outdoor seating areas. Loved having a washing machine. Good smart TV and great Wifi internet connection. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Located on a quiet street but only a 5-min walk into town."

"Comfortable studio apartment, good size, nice location"

"There is a washing machine but no dryer, and a small hanger to hang your washed clothes on, so don't expect to do more than a few items. Also allow yourself plenty of time for clothes to dry."

"The host communicated beforehand how to get access to the apartment and also advised us on the day when the apartment was available for us to use. The apartment was comfortable and very clean, with complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits. There is a washing machine available which we did not use. The garden area looked nice, although we did not have time to make use of it. The surrounding area was quiet, and we had a view of the impressive mountain from our room. It is an easy walk in to town where we had a dinner at the Húsið restaurant, which we can recommend."

"Property had everything we needed...very helpful. Tea and coffee available and even a packet of biscuits! All kitchen items we needed were present. Good space and nice view from the table. On street parking was always possible opposite the house and clear instructions were sent a couple of days before we arrived. Nice to have a guest book - I always look through in case people have recommended activities locally. Beautiful hats made by Sigridur available for purchase - I love my sheep design one. Easy walk down the hill into town. Would have happily spent more than 2 nights here! Sigridur very helpful via email both before and after our stay."

"Nothing! Everything was great for us. Those with mobility issues may want to consider that there are a few steps down to the property so moving large bags up/down could be difficult, but wasn't an issue for us."

"A fantastic guesthouse, fully equipped and clean, with a great location and amazing fjord views."

"Farmers Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay, allowing us to explore both the south coast and the golden circle during our visit to Iceland. The cabin was easy to find, comfortable and warm and we were greeted on arrival by the most lovely welcome party (Kara & Balti the farm dogs! Who came back to say Hello a few times over our 4 night stay). The Farmer messaged us on one evening to let us know that the Northern Lights were out (which we wouldn't have known otherwise) and we were very lucky to have a full evening light show! 😀 The cabin had all the amenities needed (kettle, cooker, fridge, freezer etc) along with plenty of crockery & Cutlery. Smart TV was a nice touch and the WiFi provided was decent. Overall a lovely place to stay - Thanks!!"

The location was stunning, nestled among the mountains and only about a 40-minute drive from Reykjavík, offering both tranquility and easy access to the city. One of the highlights of our trip was being able to see the Northern Lights so clearly — a truly magical and unforgettable experience. The outdoor jacuzzi was another amazing feature, perfect for relaxing, especially for our group of five. Iceland is a beautiful country, and staying here allowed us to fully experience its peaceful atmosphere, respectful and well-educated people, and the sense of calm that surrounds you everywhere. "I booked what seemed to be the biggest room - a FULL apartment on the bottom floor! (Nr. 1) =D This apartment was bigger than my own one apartment back home. I had a TV (with limited channels/viewing options), a MASSIVE double bed, a beautiful mid-sized bathroom, a kitchen on one side of the HUGE living room! There was a good-sized fridge, and all the plates, forks, glasses, cups, etc. you might need in a kitchen. There was also a full-sized wardrobe to keep your clothes up on hangers or on shelves."
