"Very nice. Great placement in centrum. Cons. Dark inside efin it was sunshine in the garden.Walls and roof panted dark grey. Nice beds."

"The apartment was very nice, spacious and very clean, located on a quiet street just 3 minutes from the harbor. The hosts were very friendly and responded instantly. When we arrived, it was quite cold in the apartment, so we called them, and they immediately told us how we could heat the apartment.All the windows have curtains and the internet connection is very good. They also offered us a 10% discount for whale watching."

"Great location in the centre of Husavik, just a short walk to the port where all the boats for the whale watching are leaving. Fully equipped kitchen that can be very useful if you are planning to cook during the stay. We enjoyed the chance to wash some clothes which helped us plan from the beginning with reduced number of clothes."

"We loved everything about this place. We stayed in Fjara which was a studio on the ground floor. It was brilliant. They truly have thought of everything to make it a comfortable couple night stay. The location is fantastic and easily walking distance for most things in Husavik and great location for exploring the north. Wish we had booked more time here. Can’t wait to stay again."

"A cool place only 2 minutes walk to the whale watching. Husavik is one of our favourite places in Iceland. Make sure to have a beer in the Husavik oL micro brewery. Northern Light picture was taken from the apartments veranda. When we return to Husavik, we will be booking here again. Can't add enough pics..."

"Very lovely (family run?) hotel. Right outside whale watching harbor, they also sent us discount codes for it. Parking is free, supermarket is in 5min drive, and lots of restaurants and cafes nearby."

"I took a key off its chain in a safe, then attached it back for checkout. Didn't feel comfortable just leaving our stuff with a key in a cheap safe just outside the door."

"The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Everything was clean as well. All the necessary amenities were provided and the bed was comfortable as well. We loved the living room area with its comfortable chairs. It is well located near the church and the meeting point for our whale watching trip the next day. The owners even shared with us a discount code for the whale watching trip :) One of our top favourite accomodation this trip. Thanks for having us!"

"A stunningly beautiful house, impressively designed and inviting in every corner. The kitchen is fully equipped. Think about every single detail in the luxurious bathroom. There is everything you need in the house, from towels to laundry and cleaning materials. The house is clean and polished. There is a fully equipped barbecue corner and the highlight - the jacuzzi in front of the view including an outdoor shower. The owners are kind and available for any request, they even left a detailed instruction book for everything needed to operate the house. An unusual experience!"

"Unbelievable location. I wish we had booked this place for our whole stay in Iceland - I would have sacrificed doing the whole ring road for just staying here. Soaking into the hot tub in the Nordic Light-ful and snowy winter night with the views of The fjord and snowy mountains is just irreplacable. We even saw whales in the fjord even in winter. The cottage is nice even for 8 people, we were comfortable. Only the one small availavle pot were not sufficient, but since i have not asked for more i do not want to raise this since the only issue we had (one heater not working) they immediately sent a service person who fixed it."

"This was not my first time at Hotel Djúpavík and I left completely satisfied. Even though I was the only guest in the hotel that night, or maybe because of that, I was perfectly taken care of in every way. Moreover, it was a beautiful clear night with the northern lights on it. Djupavik is simply the best place in the world."
