"Karuna Guesthouse was lovely. It is literally in the middle of nowhere, but it has everything for a good sleep. Parking, shared kitchen and living room. Hot tub and sauna that we didn't try. The room was small but enough and had a sink. And the shared bathroom was clean. Very quiet place."

"It was very clean and smelled new. We really liked the interior aswell. Also access to a lot of things like a spacious kitchen, a big tv, sauna, hottub and also a stunning view! Beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly too. Would definitely wanna return!"

"The bed was very comfortable! The hot tub, sauna and kitchen were all very clean and great to use. There was a complimentary breakfast which was a surprise and very good. The common area was big and spacious, very pleasant to hang around."

"Clean, orderly guesthouse, highlight was free breakfast with generous breakfast offerings - value for money for similar guesthouses in EUR110-140 price range Christine, staff who greeted us at check-in was lovely, so is young lady who prepped breakfast.. Breakfast cum guest lounge area was spacious & cozy, plenty dining space & comfortable sofas for guests, right sized for guest capacity. Thank you Karuna Staff!"

"The overall accomodation was great especially for the price in comparison to other accomodation in iceland. The included meal for breakfast was also good value for money and they assisted with dietary requirements. The facilities were very clean and room size was very large. Shower pressure was also amazing! The owner and the majority of the staff were lovely also. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!"

"Just a note when booking, the double bed listed on booking.com is actually two single beds pushed together with separate bedding. We enquired about this at reception as the room booked had a double bed not twin singles however we were told the two singles pushed together is considered a double bed."

"The place was exceptional, the best hostel we stayed in in Iceland and, in general, anywhere we went in last years. The common areas were great, spacious and beautiful. Everything very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was ok."

"Karuna is the best guesthouse we've been in Iceland. The room is beautiful and very large; the toilet is large too and warm. Common areas are beautiful and spacious, probably the kitchen is not very large but it is not an issue. The breakfast was very nice, just like other breakfasts we had in Iceland. Just outside our room, there were a hot tub and a beautiful sauna (60-70°C)"
