"We’ve had a great time here, everything was as expected and even though some things are dated, it didn’t bother us. Location wise, the hotel is really close to Forest Lagoon which was our main reason we booked it."

"This place was fantastic. We really loved our room, it was so comfortable. We stayed on the second floor the first night with the view of Akureyri. They provided house coats and slippers, It was amazing. They have a beautiful property with hot tubs and amazing views. The breakfast was really great and a beautiful room for it. We would definitely stay here again."

"The room was exactly as described and the location was perfect. The breakfast was great and we really loved the hotel. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The robes and slippers were great for the hot tub. Thank you. We had a fantastic time."

"We couldn't figure out how to turn on the jets in the hot tub. It was still nice and warm and very relaxing."

"Location!! We saw the Aurora borealis from the hotel parking lot!! And its like 10 minutes from the whales tour and Forest lagoon and city center."

"The room was super small.The tv was so big for such a small room. And the position of the tv was realy bad,I bumped in it!! The room is way too crowded ( the tv, a chandelier?? )"

"Nice hotel located in a quiet area, with parking right at the door. The room had some charm and all the necessary amenities. There is an outdoor jacuzzi, although we didn’t end up using it. The price is not too high (and includes breakfast), which considering the standards in Iceland makes it a very good option."

"check-in is very uncomplicated. You get an e-mail with the code for the room, and no matter what time you arrive you'll be able to immediately go into your room without any issues. Location is good - it's about a 10 minute drive from Akureyri, up on a hill, with great views of the fjord. Perfect choice for a quick and easy stop along the ring road"

"we booked a "small room", and it was REALLY small (to be fair, everything was according to the description on the booking platform). Breakfast selection could have been slightly better."

"Lovely clean little room with its own private entrance. Little outdoor table and chairs for use right outside the room was a nice touch. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good blackout curtains. Nice bathroom. Lovely continental-style breakfast."

"It took me a minute though to figure out that the door code needed to be input on a screen on the door handle which only becomes apparent when you touch the word “card” 🤷‍♀️ The tea bags and coffee sachets were stored in the mugs which hadn’t been dried well enough which meant the bags and sachets were a bit damp."
