"Beautiful scenery around, relatively good rate, amazing free hot tubs, extremely and warm friendly staff."

"The room was pretty small and there was a certain smell. One of the 2 toilets couldn’t be locked. Shower was very basic with almost no hangers to hang your clothes on. A few extra hooks are easy and cheap to install, don’t really understand why they don’t do that."

"We had the best time there!Extra clean,great room size for 3 people and great spot for watching northern lights as the location is dark, remote and they were all over us without ever leaving the area.And of course the hot tabs,which we did use and certainly enjoyed!"

"Unfortunately, due to weather conditions and wrong tires in the rental car we were stuck in Akureyri and couldn't make it to the first night of our booking, so we stayed in this amazing place just one night instead of two."

"Very nice shared house. I had a private room with private bathroom and it was everything fine. The shared kitchen is well equipped and people were very respectful to each other. The hot tubs are very nice and heated with geothermal water, but I would have liked it a bit warmer (it was feeling like -3 the night I stayed) - not sure it is possible to change it. I recommend this guest house."

"Very clean and cozy looking place. Room was spacious enough with fridge and big fridge in the common kitchen, kitchen had all the tools available you could need. Hot tubs were nice with great view. During breakfast you can make your own waffles. Highly recommend this place."
