Fosshotel Baron has a central yet quiet location, within a few minutes’ walk of Reykjavik’s main street, Laugavegur, and the waterfront promenade. It offers en suite rooms and apartments and a generous breakfast buffet. All of Baron’s accommodation options are equipped with satellite TV and tea/coffee facilities. Some rooms have elegant late 1800s-style décor, while others offer views of the Atlantic Ocean. The breakfast buffet includes freshly baked bread. Drinks and snacks are available in the bar. Staff can help arrange excursions to attractions such as the Blue Lagoon, Gullfoss and the Geysir. Within 10 minutes' walk is a variety of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as whale watching excursions. The shuttle bus for Keflavik Airport stops right outside the hotel.

"Convenient location less than 5 minutes walk to the seafront and 10 to the centre"

"The beds were really comfy. Had an amazing window view of the mountains and got see the northern lights from my room. Loved the use of natural spring water too."
"Only issue i had was the use of a shower curtain caused water to go everywhere on the bathroom floor although there is a drain, the water didn't go towards it."
"Everything, it is in a convenient place near to Bus stops number 12 and 9, and only 15 mins from Bus stops 3 and 5. It is clean and functional, the staff are friendly and helpful. Domino pizza is across the road, a convenient supermarket 3 mins walk away."

"The location was excellent, 3 min walk to the main street. The room was clean. Water pressure in the shower was amazing. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was lovely. There was construction happening somewhere in the area so we needed to go to a bus stop to be collected for tours etc but the stop was just around the corner so no big deal"
