"We loved the house, it's huge and has beautiful views. There are plenty of beds and 2 bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of comfy places to sit. The kitchen was really well equipped too. Would have liked to stay longer."

"The only criticism we had was that the pillows need replacing. Otherwise it would have been perfect."

"Whole house - centrally located for all our activities planned near Thingvellir National Park. We stayed here on our first night in Iceland. We had 2 friends and a married couple on this trip, and had plenty of space."

"This place is something special. It allows you to feel the real vibe of the outbacks. Amazing to spot northern lights during winter, the idea of creating a dedicated little shop, provided by the owners, is something important considering that the first town (Hella, which is really small) is about 20 minutes driving away. The accommodation is cozy, welcoming, well kept and organized. It’s clear that Greta and Steinar put their own inside this project, with a enthusiasm and passion. Their horse ranch is right beside the cottages and they are cool in let you take a look of their work, by asking them in advance. Washing machine and dishwasher were really appreciated. We definitely enjoyed our time there!"

"Very cozy and warm inside the bubble. Location was amazing, we got to see the northern lights on our bed. The bed was actually very cozy. Our bubble was located near the main building where the shared bathrooms and kitchen was. But crampons were very helpful if you decide to walk outside in the dark."

"It truly is a Wee Cosy House. I would like to start by saying that it was the one and only accomodations in Iceland where we were provided with house shoes (we forgot to pack) which was great. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed in the kitchen - we cooked a lot too! Wish we stayed longer"

"We felt right at home during our stay, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Although the house is quite old, they have done their best to make it comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, which made things very convenient. It’s a great option for a short stay, and the location is ideal for aurora hunting."

"The property was amazing, such a lovely modern, well-equipped villa, literally in the middle of nowhere, yet just a ~30 min drive from the closest town! It's rare to say this on Booking, but in reality it is better than what you see on the photos. 10 of us stayed there for 2 nights. Super easy to communicate with the hosts and to get in - there is a lockbox at the door. The villa was squeaky clean, the rooms and beds super comfortable and the kitchen is impeccably equipped with everything you don't even know you might need. The highlight, of course, is the outdoor hot tub, which can comfortably fit 12 people. Watching the northern lights from there was quite literally a life-changing experience. The hosts were super nice and easy to communicate with, also shared with us a a super helpful information pack about the area and what we can do while we are there. 11/10 would recommend!"
