Stipe Residence is a family-run guesthouse in Podstrana which provides spacious, air-conditioned accommodation with large balconies overlooking the white sandy beach. Podstrana is a small tourist town only 7 km from Split and it offers Mediterranean ambience where the clear blue sea is just a few steps away from your door. You can start your day with a breakfast out on the balcony and enjoy the rays of sunshine over the sea. You can also prepare you own food from fresh local ingredients in your own kitchen. If you prefer to dine out, local and informal restaurants and inns serve the most tasty domestic food specialities. With the beach so close by, you can conveniently take part in a large number of water sports available. Alternatively, venture a little further afield and explore the sights of the old town Split. There you can visit museums, exhibitions and the Split Summer Festival.

"Ease of pick up, facilities, room was lovely and clean. Had enough in the kitchen to cook a simple meal!"
"Bed linen was pretty limited , a sheet and a quilt that didn’t cover both of us. Even if there is just the option for an additional piece of linen in the cupboard to use if needed!"
"Excellent stay at Stripe residence, check in was easy and simple, stayed in the loft room which was beautiful and spacious, easy transport links via bus into the town centre or Uber between 10/15 euros."
"Not a case of what I didn't like but there is a bit of a hill up to the accomdation from the main road, and if your staying in the loft theres about 3/4 sets of stairs to climb but well worth it for the views!"

"The driveway and bed was unpleasant but was okay.cost €15 to get Uber into Split so a bit far away but also meant we weren’t in bustle. The morning traffic is severe into Split though so when you have morning bookings this can be hard."

"For a large group of people, our 4 person apartment at the ground floor served as an excellent meeting point. We thoroughly enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the easy bus transport to and from Split. Hosts were very flexible and kind!!"

"Everything, staff was extremly helpful, the proximity to the beach, there are bakery and grocery store around the corner and few restaurants at the beach. View from the balcony was amazing."

"The location was perfect, apartment clean, and everything as needed. It was only a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute taxi into Split (when there was no traffic!) - perfect! Would stay again in a heartbeat."
