"I had a room that had a private door leading to a little terrace which was nice. The inn is also located in a quiet residential area so it felt cozy and relaxing."

A bit of a walk to central Torshavn, but doable if you're capable.

"Very helpful owner, Jose. He was very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. We also had access to a fully equipped kitchen, which was extremely convenient and made our stay much more comfortable. Only 15 min. away from skiing resort Romme Alpin. Highly recommended!"

A bit far from the city

"Hosts were super friendly, very helpful and kind. Silvio gave me a ride back to airport when I arrived and needed to pick up my partner (we traveled separately there). The house and the room were nice and clean, huge fridge and well equipped kitchen for the guests to use. Netflix with guest account in the room was a nice extra. Big terrace with sunbeds. The location itself was lovely, locals were friendly and helpful as well. Airport is very close, 40 mins walk or 6 mins with the car."

I know it's not the hosts fault, because there was an issue with the pool due the construction works in the neighborhood the time we're staying there and we couldn't use it. Would have been nice, because the pool itself is pretty big.

"Absolutely lovely host, allowed me to check in a bit earlier. Fair way from the city centre but easily connected with trams and buses which wasnt a problem. There was a shopping centre not too far away. Was very comfortable and clean and was able to sleep very well. Not too hot, not too cold. Also has a kitchen."

Honestly nothing to complain about. Entrance is in the alley way and up a spiral staircase.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. "This is an excellent small guesthouse and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is very quiet and Bahir Dar is one of the most beautiful cities in Africa. The hosts, Ashenafi and Habtamu, showed us around and made us feel very welcome."

This is a new guesthouse and they are still getting all the facitilties that a western tourist would expect, but everything important was there including shower, cooking facilities, chairs and tables in the patio and a barbeque!

"Super kind and helpful hosts (speak Spanish, English and French). Very big and well equipped rooms, hammocks and comfy seats to relax in the tropical garden, with various plants and trees... A restaurant just next door and a supermarket in short walking distance... only 15min to the airport... Very comfy bed and warm water shower... Would highly recommend this place!"

We were just abit surprised in the beginning that it was a shared house....so maybe just a clearer description online

"My stay at this guest house was absolutely fantastic! The host was excellent, very kind, and provided a lot of detailed advice before my trip, which was incredibly helpful. Staying in a whole house was great! The location allowed me to spend very quiet and comfortable nights. It was conveniently situated close to the coastal road and within easy walking distance. The only thing that slightly annoyed me on arrival was that there wasn’t an electrical socket right next to the bed, even though it did say that on the booking site. But that’s a small thing.

And the location was also on very good spot, kind of centre location to visit the important places in beirut. The highlight were the staff and their behavior. It was a pleasant experience in that hotel."

Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

Not really any downside about the accommodation. A car is needed as you cant really walk from there into town, but there is on-site parking and taxi services.

"The property has a very good location, you can ski to the center and to the foot of the mountain. It is very clean and spacious, we booked two apartments and we are very satisfied with them. Wifi is okay, it works nicely. There’s parking and kitchen and two bathrooms and a toilet in those two apartments."

The owner was with us at the house, and he wanted to help us with the snow around our cars, but we didn’t always feel comfortable around him. He was cheerful and kind man sometimes, but sometimes he made unnecessary comments which were not needed in this type of situation since we are the guests there.

"The property is in a great location, close to all different kinds of food and walkable to the waterfront. Everything is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The host is lovely and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Facilities are great, and there is a washing machine you can use free of charge. Aircon works well."

The shower is cold, but it’s manageable because it’s so hot.
