"One of the best places we have ever stayed; we really did not want to leave. Super high quality apartment and very comfortable. Well equipped for a holiday stay (but no oven). Lovely views across the mountains and also down to the lake. Easy walk down to the lake with a nice hotel/restaurant and even a small supermarket at the bottom of the road. About another 20 minutes into the town itself, along the footpath. So great location; peaceful and quiet without the Bled town crowds and traffic."

The hot water system will drive you mad - if, like us, you were brought up not to waste water! And bring your own shower gel etc.

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

"We had a truly great stay at Vila Davor, Turistička 8- Peštani. The location is phenomenal, at least in our case with small children, because the apartment is less than 10 meters from the private beach with sunbeds. In same house there is a beach bar and kayak and sup board rental. There is a supermarket and several restaurants of national cuisine nearby. As for sightseeing, the entire area around the lake and the Galicica National Park are a 15-20 minute drive away. The host is pleasant and ready to help in any way that would make the stay more pleasant (cheers Mishko). The house is a little bit older, but the apartment is clean and tidy. The kitchen is shared and with basic things as it is noted in the offer so that is not a complaint. It is a bit more difficult to park if you have a large vehicle, but the host can find you a safe and large parking lot in the immediate vicinity. And the biggest plus at least for us- they are pet friendly."

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. Ac and wifi worked really well and you could use the kitchen for coffee. Jay and his dog were really helpful and friendly."
