"Lovely rustic hut. It’s perfect if you prefer something out of the way. Very peaceful and beautiful views. Due to the snow there was no car access, that was ok with us, but something to consider, short walk to the hut was pretty steep. Very wintery conditions and lots of snow was particularly charming."

"A fantastic place. Quiet and peaceful at the end of a canyon. The villa has absolutely everything. You can have a dip in the pool, do a big bbq, explore the nearby canyon or just relax at one of many cozy places. Olya and her family are perfect hosts, very good communication and so nice! We stayed one more night than planned because we loved it so much."

Communal seating arrangements could be better / cosier, as well as outside space would be amazing with a terrace! Sauna had limited hours that we can't control, but is what is!

"Very welcoming and attentive host, great location with superb views and conviently located to visit Volcán Poás. Excellent facilities and very nice breakfast. Very good value for money."

"The host was lovely. Arranged a time to meet and greet to show us around. Basic snacks and drinks were provided which was a nice touch. House was clean and well maintained. Towels and spare sheets provided. 2 bathrooms was great. Great washer and dryer (massive american style washer and dryer), fully kitted out kitchen and convenient parking outside property in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Property exactly as advertised. Very nice facilities. 7 minutes drive to Sheraton shopping mall though there is a 'popular' supermarket which is walking distance or 2 minutes drive. Its about 15 minutes to bridgetown or oistins which is very central and banks are close by. Host arranged a housekeeper half way through holiday at no extra charge and we even had resident monkeys greeting us every morning. Only teeny tiny thing was the middle (1of 3) bedroom had a ceiling fan rather than ac and it was hot but that was minor really."

It would be good if there could be an established recycling collection/point locally.

"Wir hatten telefonisch Kontakt zur Vermieterin. Zur Schlüsselübergabe kam jemand und hat den Schlüssel und das Haus übergeben. Der Garten ist sehr groß. Der Plattensee mit einem Spaziergang erreichbar. Die ganze Siedlung wird nur im Sommer bewohnt. Das sollte man wissen."

Es gab einen Fernseher, aber nur ungarische Programme. Internet war leider nur per Mobil möglich, was das Traffikguthaben ziemlich schmälerte. Wir hatten große Tarife, da ging es schon. Aber mit 10 GB kommt man nicht lange, wenn man Netflix sieht. Prepaid-Internet wäre ne Möglichkeit.

Cuentan con una huerta adorable y unos acompañantes de cuatro patas cariñosos. Los techos elevados de la casa hacen que se mantenga el ambiente lo suficientemente fresco a comparación de la sensación térmica que se percibe al exterior. "The experience here is once in a lifetime. It is so incredible to sit back and watch the elephants and other animals as though you’re not even there. The accomodation makes you feel like a real life Tarzan and Jane. The staff are very helpful and so kind. We had in house meals and there were amazing! The staff come and drop them off or prepare them right there in the house for you. It’s very private with no other house within earshot or sight and because it’s so peaceful you can hear the staff arriving in their cars a few minutes before they actually do. (The staff preset times with you to come by the house, ie: lunch at 12, and the only time we had an unannounced visitor was when the power went out). The sitting areas and beds are very comfortable with nice linen. The wifi is amazing."

The accomodation is very exposed to the elements with no air conditioning/heating and lots of bugs, spiders and small animals like squirrels and adorable mice type creatures present in your house. We loved this aspect but for some it could be a bit much.

"What a surprisingly wonderful stay. OK, the cabin wasnt flash. It was a bit dated and worn (reminiscent of mid-20th century beach cabins), but it was spacious, comfy, everything worked, plenty of TV channels, the shower had good hot water, and the area was quiet despite being very close to the town, night market, and beaches. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing 4-day stay."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Casaroro Residence. The accommodation is located in a mountainous region surrounded by nature. It's very quiet, no traffic noise. Waterfalls and hiking trails are nearby. The room is well equipped. Large double bed with a very comfortable mattress. Aircon is super silent. There's a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with hot shower and outside you can sit on a veranda which is protected by mosquito nets and there's also a barbecue area outside. The internet connection is stable and quite fast, for entertainment there's flat screen TV with Netflix and even a Playstation4. For this budget this is one of the best places i ever stayed. I can absolutely recommend this place!"
