"Good place for a getaway with your wife and children; nevertheless, it's pretty far from the city, so you would need to have a car. There are several villas with lots of rooms."

It's noisy in the morning. It may not be comfortable for the guys who like to sleep for a long time in the high season. Also, our apartment has a separate balcony from the other room, so if your neighbors like to smoke in the morning, you will feel that as well. But if you are an early bird, this pearl is for you.

The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! We spent a beautiful day and night enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching a stunning sunset by the sea. The two kitchens, one large and one smaller, made meal preparations easy and seamless for our group. The host was incredibly responsive, ensuring our check-in was smooth and that we had everything we needed. The thoughtful amenities provided made our weekend stay feel effortless and relaxing. The only thing I would add is a microwave in addition to the electric grill in the apartment, but that's a minor detail. I would recommend this apartment to my friends."

No communal areas. The kitchen was tiny and no where sit and eat. There is a small space in the top floor to make a cup of tea but not suitable to eat and not near the kitchen. The shared bathroom shower is too complicated, the water sprays out of all the taps and was cold

"Cozy little town, quiet and pitoresk. Gasthaus Emmi is located central in the town, but still has a beautiful location with an open field behind. Great garden with swimmingpool, playground for kids, rabbits and hens. Breakfast very good, local products and fresh eggs. Clean rooms."

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

"Very close to the water. Wonderful view of the Colpoy's Bay. The Milky Way can be seen with the naked eye. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Great for a relaxing trip."
