"Location to port and centre ie walking distance cleanliness accessibility to apartment and parking just outside the hotel entry"

"The location is perfect for coming off the ferry. The reception staff were fantastic."
"It was quite noisy, but that can't be helped when everywhere is tiled. And people slamming doors, I wish you could twist the door handles so you can close them quietly. The breakfast food could do with being hot, it was barely lukewarm."
"We arrived and were offered an upgrade to a room with a sea view. The view was stunning and the location was perfect, as we had a ferry to catch the next day. Walking along the dock was beautiful and we enjoyed a lovely dinner by the sea before heading back. The room was big, clean and perfect for what we needed."

"Very well located for the port, nice view, very comfortable beds."

"Location was very convenient. Rooms clean and staff pleasant"
"Rooms were a little tired looking. The shower leaked across into main room. A few marks on walls. We had unfortunate view over dirty rooves. Would have preferred brewing facilities on the room"
"Central to where we needed to go. Staff pleasant. Room very comfortable."
"No coffee making facility in the room."
"Clean, modern hotel in a great central location with harbour views. Comfortable bed and good hot water."
"Soundproofing could be better, and I thought the lighting was poor - there were no bedside lights. For me the breakfast was disappointing but plenty of guests obviously thought otherwise. The coffee was hardly drinkable and there was a lot of rather non-wholesome food. It all felt a bit impersonal."
"Unaware a school group was booked into the hotel. Excited young people ran around Level 3, banging on doors, shouting, screaming out until 2am. Never heard an adult or a teacher ask them to be quiet for other guests, it was like they had full run of the hotel. For a disabled unit the bed was extremely low and hard and the toilet was positioned very badly."

"Caretta beach is cozy, small and on the beach. Located enought, approx 1,5 kilometers, away from all the other tourists and hotels. We really enjoyed the silence. Nice people and nice weather."

"We had a wonderful stay! The view is absolutely fantastic, and the private, nomadic-style beach is a true hidden gem. The pools are great as well. The whole place feels peaceful and secluded, perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast and the restaurant menu were both excellent. There are renovated and non-renovated parts of the hotel — we stayed in the latter. Even though it’s a bit older, it was clean and comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back!"
Orsolya Colonides Retreat Sea & Silence
"Very nice modern apartment with all the amenities including air conditioning and washing machine, which was very helpful. It is located in about 100 meters from the beach in a small town of Vonitsa. It is not far from Lefkada, about 20 minutes by car. The host is very nice and even left some snacks for our breakfast on the first day. The bakery is next door, which is also very helpful."

"Very polite owner, he even offered to drive me to a nearby location as it was raining. Clean room, comfortable bed, very close to the town centre."

"The location, in the old Jewish quarter, is excellent- but an absolute nightmare to find. Do your homework beforehand! Good buffet breakfast."
