"L'accueil et la générosité de Paquerette qui a eu à coeur de faire découvrir sa région, ses traditions, sa nourriture. Belle vue sur la mer avec des couchés de soleils invroyable. A 5 min. de Malendure en voiture. Possible d'y aller à pieds."

"L accueil de Paquerette qui nous a aidés à trouver un restaurant pour le soir et offert un petit déjeuner. Nous avons pu échanger avec la propriétaire sur la vie locale et profiter du magnifique coucher de soleil"

"Really great place, my flight was canceled and the host stayed up until 2 o'clock in the morning to meet me and check me in. It was a really great welcome. Beautiful setting with lots of greenery around and I was able to walk to the beach the next morning."

"Situé dans un cadre idyllique au milieu d'une végétation luxuriante, le domaine de Valcine est l'endroit idéal pour observer une paisible trêve hors du temps et se mettre au vert. La proximité de nombreux sentiers de randonnée comme la Trace des Contrebandiers et de la cascade de Bis est appréciable. Les propriétaires, fort sympathiques, veillent à ce que votre séjour se passe le mieux possible. Le panier repas servi (sur commande), très varié, révèle toutes les merveilles et les saveurs de la cuisine locale. Un excellent séjour en leur compagnie, j'y reviendrai très certainement."

"L'appartement est bien équipé et avec une situation très agréable, au calme. De la terrasse nous avons pu observer des iguanes, des tortues, des aigrettes, des hérons... Et malgré la présence de l'eau, nous n'avons pratiquement pas eu de moustique. Un plus, la présence de la douche extérieure et de la piscine."

"1. The location was superb. It was completely quiet and provided panoramic views over the ocean from the terrace. 2. The cottage was sensitively built -compact, but with all we needed. 3. The hostess and owner were friendly and very helpful -it was a pleasure to meet them both. 4. We were on a walking holiday and access to the southern half of the island was good from here. 5. It was extremely hot during our stay. The lovely swimming pool and terrace were much appreciated. 6. Exploring the plants and seeing the birds in the compact but varied garden was a pleasure. 7. This was our best accommodation during our 4 weeks on the island."

"This is a great find. Jacqueline was a great host. She lives next door so was always on hand if needed but respected our privacy at the same time. The villa was clean and had everything we needed. Would have liked a small sofa to relax in the evening but not a huge problem. Swimming pool was private, warm and clean. Need a car if staying here but that is normal for Guadaloupe. Would definitely recommend to other travellers. Thank you Jacqueline for a lovely stay."
