"Food was great and reasonably priced. The location, in terms of access, wasn´t that easy, but once there the site is amazing, like being in the middle of a bird sanctuary. I made use of a bicycle and went to the coast almost directly behind Gunjur and that was amazing too. The guy who seemed to be in charge, Sherrifo (¿) was really friendly, to the extent of spotting birds that I couldn´t see. This is more like the real Gambia than Senegambia!"

"Everywhere is swept every day. A lot of time is spent in keeping the place tidy, but the water in the pool is a sinister shade of green. Maybe there´s no simple remedy. Also, I would like to have had my own key so that I could come and go as I please. The reception/kitchen doors have padlocks so this wouldn´t have been too difficult."
