"Exactly what I expected. Clean, comfortable and warm but basic"

"Everything was so outdated. The plumbing in the whole building can be heard from our ground floor room and so can everyone’s movements no matter where they are. The curtains would not cover the windows fully and we were on the ground floor so it was very unsafe. I would say lovely staff but we didn’t interact or see anyone besides ringing the doorbell. The bathroom was falling apart and everything was rusty, the shower was stained and cracked. The bin had been placed over an iron burn on the carpet. Duvet covers also were not white. The light cover was not screwed onto the ceiling properly and looked very dodgy. I wish I could go back in time to not book this property and pay the extra amount to book an actual hotel."
"Location was good for the Academy only a 5-10 min walk away, plenty of shops nearby and the Weatherspoons was handy for a cheap breakfast, the room was a typical single occupancy sized room, clean & tidy and perfect if on a budget."
