Less than 10 minutes’ walk from Clarence Pier in Portsmouth, this historically listed building is in Bellevue Terrace. There is free Wi-Fi throughout. Rooms at The Pier have simple and elegant décor, and benefit from a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Each also has a pod-style en suite bathroom. Pod style en-suite showers are compact and may not be suitable for taller people Gunwharf Quays and HMS Warrior are also a 10-minute walk away. Southsea Castle is an 8-minute walk from the building, and a wide range of cafes and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The University of Portsmouth is 5 minutes from The Pier on foot. Property may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

"Lovely and quiet location, walking distance to Old Portsmouth. Rahul is a very welcoming, friendly and attentive host, who replied quickly to queries. The hotel is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, the bedroom was warm and the bed very comfortable. We booked breakfast, which was delicious and great value. He kindly gave us a parking permit for the street outside. We will definitely return!"
