"The apartment is completely furnished, there is everything needed, including the iron. The furniture looks new and in general the place is very clean."

"A vacation like in the country with lots of charm, all the comforts and a wonderful garden. We could hardly sum up our stay at the Chambre des Dames any better. The rooms are located in an annexe, each with a separate entrance and exude a rustic ambience with great stone walls and antique furniture and offer all the comfort you could wish for - with a great modern bathroom, kettle, etc. The highlight for us, however, was the really beautiful garden with seating and a small garden shed with kitchen, which could also have been used. The owner is always approachable and you can tell how much passion she puts into running the accommodation. You are greeted with a sincere smile at breakfast and this also leaves nothing to be desired (including fresh croissants, homemade crepes etc.). The location was also great, as various castles were within easy reach. The parking lot is located on the property and is secured by a gate."

"The apartment has a beautiful view from the balcony over the garden to the mountain. If there were showers, we enjoyed the view through the glass sliding doors. The kitchen was very well stocked with cups and plates, and also a big basket of coffee capsules. The lighting was excellent, both natural and artificial. It was a pleasant 10-minute walk along the stream to the shops or the Monday morning market. We also walked to the ruined fortress and to the Napoleon III bridge. We drove 30 minutes to the Cirque de Gavarnie hike. Not to be missed!"

"Charming property that suited us perfectly as a family of four (2 teenagers). The house had everything we needed - including comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, bbq in the garden… and was brilliantly located - a short walk to the harbour/mini supermarket/fishmonger and boulangerie. Fabulous beach a 4-5 minute drive away, and smaller ones even closer. Annie, the owner, couldn’t have been more helpful."

"This is a magic location; lakeside with a lovely little animal park next door, and close to a series of beautiful waterfalls. A very relaxed atmosphere. The accommodation and food were basic, but good. There are family rooms in the main building, also a couple of pretty Gypsy Caravan style places by the lake and a couple of wood-framed tents to one side of the animal park. The staff were really great."

"We were nicely welcomed by the owners and they were also always available if we had a question. All rooms in the spacious house are nicely decorated and have their own fully equiped bathroom and great beds. The view from the terrace, pool & jacuzzi on the bay are just breath taking. We really enjoyed every moment of it, even with lower temperatures during our stay since both the pool & jacuzzi are heated :-) The house is the perfect location to relax"
