Royal Hôtel

"The breakfast was amazing, staff were so helpful and friendly, they all couldn’t do enough for us. The location was perfect."

"There was nothing that I didn't like about this hotel."

"Everything. Friendly staff. Lovely room. Very clean. Great location. Excellent continental breakfast."

"Glad I was on the first floor. No lift."

"Bed was comfy, centrally located, you can open the window for fresh air. Staff very helpful and breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were excellent"

"Could do better on the environmental front I think. Indications that water is potable and to reuse towels, small items but still have impact. Also Air conditioning was set to come on automatically, in winter, when the heating was also on."

"It was the best breakfast we have ever had. We are very grateful to the hotel for such a generous breakfast — it was so large that we couldn’t finish it and asked for takeaway boxes to have it on the road the next day. Dinner on the day of check-in was also excellent. We were traveling for 10 days, staying in a different place each night, and this was by far the best dinner of our entire road trip. I would recommend this hotel even for the kitchen alone."

"The room renovation feels a bit outdated. The plumbing in both the shower and the toilet clearly needs maintenance and repairs."

"Christian, Raheem and Lily met all our requests professionally with kindness and enthusiasm. You have great staff!"

"The location was exceptional! Staff very friendly."

"Our room didnt have proper windows but rather a porthole...not a problem since it lends to the historic setting of the hotel but a bit scary if you are a little claustrophobic. Luckily the room is spacious enough. Would have like a kettle and some tea in the room."

"Beautiful room, cosy central extremely helpful kind staff-"

"Location, location, location The hotel is near literary everything you need to visit. The stuff is great! The design is great! They were great with our median sized dog 🧡 There was no additional charge for it. If you travel by car, the hotel will arrange for you to use the payed city parking, located beneath the hotel."
