"This was our second time staying here. We didn’t have time to enjoy all the facilities, but the living room with a fireplace was very nice. The kitchen was well equipped, the staff were polite, and the breakfast was good. We will definitely come back."

"By far one of the most beautiful places I ever stayed in. The apartment was very spacious and a lot of the apartments actually come with their own little private garden. Everything is very clean and well maintained. It was very easy to reach and has lots of possibilities for grocery shopping but also restaurants in the area and in Angouleme. For the price of this apartment with garden you could never find a tiny room in a bigger European city. It is very peaceful and there are lots of hiking trails around."

"What a gem! We booked for 2 night and booked for a 3rd night when we saw how nice it was. It was a little cottage with a garden for our dog. A much needed rest for us all. Comfy bed. Well equiped kitchen & nice bathroom. The pool is a relief in the heat."

"Everything was great. Only negative is the stairs in the cottage could be a bit hard to get up if you were not good on your feet."

"I loved staying at Montboulard! I stopped over just for the night on my drive to Germany and wow, what a pleasant surprise! The premises are beautiful!!! The room was very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable, i slept like a baby! The hotel manager is super nice and everyone else was very friendly! This is one of the few times at Booking that everything was better than expected! I would love to stay here again."
