"Suite Esmeralda is a funky tasteful designed top floor studio w large bed and « touch » lighting. Great open plan bath, shower, basin. Comfy stylish niche for sitting w TV. Perfect location for exploring Lyon’s great bars and restaurants w nearby underground public parking. Check in is all remote and the codes and directions were all very clear."

"The lift stops on 5th floor and two flights of stairs take you to Esmeralda studio, which is directly under the roof - as it was an extreme heatwave (37-40!!) the room was very hot and the a/c struggled overnight to reduce the temperature much. In the kitchenette there is no sink or dishwasher, which seems odd for such a well finished loft conversion. Underground Parking at the Célestins Theatre was a convenient short walk away but very expensive at €26 for less than 24hrs! Be aware that on Google Maps the Place Bellecour Mi-Hotel location is at #5 and our Mi-Hotel #37 is not marked on Maps - we found ourselves trying to figure out the codes and instructions first at #5, until reading the confirmation email more closely with the specific address of studio Esmeralda which is on the corner of the Place!"

"The cleaner. The very stylish lights would look better without a layer of dust, and just because the lovely wooden floor has lots of cracks doesn't mean it shouldn't be vacuumed. And even though we didn't want breakfast doesn't mean we don't drink coffee or tea in the morning."

"Good property- it is as expected from photos. Bath is great. Good communication with managers who were able to assist with an issue we had. Was a surprise to have daily cleaning as it is an apartment. Just be aware lift is small and there is a flight of stairs- all disclosed in listing"

"Coffee machine is a professional Nespresso so you can not get more pods yourself- and you don’t get a lot with 3 people staying. Need more glasses and cups- only 2 and we had 3 staying plus a fried who came for a wine. Hot water runs out but can fill bath"

"We actually got put in another suite in another building (Rendez Vous in Espace Gailleton) and were very happy with our stay. Good communication beforehand for how to get into the suite (all codes, no reception or keys), and getting in went smoothly. Suite was very spacious with comfortable beds. Convenient location and good value. Coffee and tea in the suite were a bonus."
