"Nice rural location - a beautiful building with quirky features in the longe/bar. Jordan made us feel very welcome. Our (upgraded ) junior suite was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed a fabulous evening meal of really high quality - and the chef went out of his way to accommodate an intolerance which was excellent. Breakfast was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Well worth paying for."

"More detailed instructions on the website, about the hotel location, would have been useful. It is an out of village location and, when asking for directions in the nearest village, six people didn't know where the hotel was."

"We were very kindly surprised by a complimentary upgrade on arrival which meant we had a room with air conditioning . Given the excessive temperatures at the time this was a very welcome addition. Food at dinner and breakfast was excellent as was the attentive service where all staff clearly made an effort to make guests comfortable and welcome. Comfortable bed and good bed linen which ensured an excellent nights sleep."
