"We spent just one night here and thought that this will be ok. The room was dated but clean and very comforable with an excellent shower. We booked the restaurant for supper not expecting it to be anything special. How wrong we were! A traditonal restaurant that was fully booked with wonderful service and first class fare. We will definintely be back!"

"It was beautiful, great location and amazing food. Such a gorgeous setting in an idyllic medieval village. The family rooms were excellent. We have 3 boys and it’s always hard finding a family room that caters for us all as a family of 5. The 3 single beds and double made it really comfortable. Loved the black out blinds too!"

"The only thing that could be a problem on hot evenings is the lack of air conditioning or fans in the rooms. There were 2 big velux windows but not much air came through them as it’s in a very secluded position. A fan in the rooms would be a great addition."
