"Great location - near coast and also GR20 mountain trail, stunning view from the terrace, very nice host. A holiday home is nice, clean but a bit old, there are only two burners in the kitchen. However, the price-quality ratio is very high"

"Really enjoyed this hostel, friendly and helpful staff and other guests seemed nice and social. Good common areas and bed had plug point, light and shelf for little things like water bottle or phone."

"This apartment is in a residential block next to the 'Auberge de la Foret' (closed when we were there). Our hostess gave us instructions over the phone - our entrance was round the back, where a small gate opened onto a small outside area with tables and chairs. The apartment was on 2 levels - the main L-shaped room had a well-equipped kitchen, dining table and bar stools, and a comfortable sofa. Upstairs was a mezzanine with bedroom and en-suite bathroom. With the heating on, it was soon very cosy on a wet autumn evening. The next day we drove to Lake Thorenc (not far). We didn't have time to do the walk in the forest but we spent an enjoyable hour walking around the lake, learning about the river and types of fishing from information boards along the way."
