"We stayed at the apartment for one week at the beginning of August. Getting the key was easy, the host Nicolas is very friendly and helpul. The apartment was perfect for us, everything is like in the description. From the balcony you have a stunning view over the sea and we loved having a glass of rosé wine there in the evenings. A little bakery and a supermarket are nearby and it‘s also no problem getting to the old town. You can either use the bus (12+) along the seafront or the tram that runs directly behind the building. We will definitely come back! 😃"

If you think all this is good, just wait until you go down for breakfast! Nat goes way beyond the call of duty to give you the most generous and sumptuous range of mainly home-made goodies. "Perfect for an overnight stay on our journey through France. It is an independent double room with en-suite shower room and toilet and a small patio located at the far end of the host's garden. You park on the driveway, it is very secure with the gated entrance operated by a digicode. The facilities are modern and very clean and there is an air conditioning unit in the room which would be very useful in hot weather but we didn't need to use it . Also useful is the small fridge to store milk and breakfast essentials you will have to bring or buy for your stay. I felt the room was comfortable and fine for a night or two but it is on the small side and I found the mattress too firm. The centre of Chartres is 5 minutes away by car, about 30 min on foot using the dedicated footpath. We drove into Chartres for dinner as it was raining the evening we arrived and parking in town is free after 6.00pm"
