"The start of the stay was somewhat embarrassing, we were tired after along drive, and my husband freaked out that his beloved vehicle will get the bottom scraped on the way down hill to the guesthouse. The host patiently babied us down, there was no issue at all. Oh well, embarrassing indeed. The rest of the stay was pure pleasure. In addition to the most scenic view from the terrace and large windows, the place is tastefully decorated with mid century furniture and lots of interesting details. A good bed, a proper kitchen, plenty of space to relax and a wonderful gentleman as a host. La Bouille is a charming and characterful village, we always stay here on the last night of the holiday before getting on a boat from Dieppe. Mind, the working hours of the few shops is a part of the charm, dont expect things to be open all the time, you’ve got to time it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will try to book when next in this part of the country. Merci beaucoup Antoine."

"We liked the location close to the Orangerie Park. There are restaurants, grocery store, bakery nearby. It’s not far to walk to the Cathedrale or Krutenau. The neighborhood was surprisingly very quiet. Nice bathroom. We enjoyed the watching the Storks in their nests nearby. We did find free parking in the Quinze, across the Blvd. Marne."

"Rooms/bathrooms were modern, clean with comfortable bed and great shower. The manager, Vincente, was very friendly & helpful - recommended a superb restaurant (Le Repere - would very highly recommend) and even gave us a lift there as it was pouring with rain (it was only a 10 minute walk back)."
