"Excellent accommodation. Rated at 9.4 on booking but should definitely be a 10. Lovely hosts and made to feel very welcome. Great location with plenty to do locally. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer due to onward journey. Will definitely be going back again."

"Lake view was beyond perfect. Absolutely faultless in every way. Excellent facilities. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Extremely roomy. In a beautiful peaceful location. To top it off, the hosts were amazing. Steve even helped to fix my car after a little incident on the way down. We will be back. Highly recommended."

The house is beautiful, spacious, clean, with everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped. The village Cieux is beautiful and it 9 minutes drive to Oradur Sur Glane which was our purpose of coming. Very recommended house and hosts."

"The stay was excellent 👌 The staff was very kind, good breakfast and beautiful and quiet sleeping room."
"The location is wonderful- perfect to experience a little of France and yet with the convenience of being near the motorway for onward travel. The property is very pretty with ponds, weeping willows and gardens. We had dinner and it was, no lie, sublime. Martine's tartiflette is exceptional, as were the figs from her garden for dessert. Yum! Breakfast featured her fresh-pressed citrus juice and her own pancakes with confitures, among them a home-made mirabelle one. The bed was really comfortable and we look forward to returning soon (we hope!)."

"What a wonderful place to spend a few days. Wish we had stayed longer. Very kind and flexible attention to our needs (even though we aren't very demanding). Amazing renovation or maybe one could say a rebirth/repurposing of a very old stone barn. The wooden feeding troughs are restored and featured in the dining area. My wife and I truly enjoy stays with table d'hôtes (guest table). Wonderful dinners both nights with locally grown/gathered ingredients. We stayed in the Sève de pin (Pine sap) room. Wonderful sheets."
