"Jeanette and Richard are fantastic, so welcoming and helpful. The location is stunning and plenty of space to relax near the pool or under the nearby trees. The room was very comfortable, a lovely nights sleep and so clean. We loved it and really hope they we’ll return! Duras was lively at the night market and everyone was so welcoming."

"The property is situated in a wonderful location with fantastic views. Only a 4 min drive from Duras centre which has some nice cafes and eateries as well as the chateaux. A great base to drive to lots of neighbouring towns and villages which were a delight to explore.The room itself was large and beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and well maintained. Janette and Richard were excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming and full of local knowledge and recommendations."

"Richard & Jeanette are amazing hosts and they made so many recommendations that made our stay in Bordeaux an amazing experience. The B&B facilities were exceptional, making it feel like home. Beautiful views from the room and the lounge."

"This accommodation ticked all the boxes. Spacious bedrooms, meticulously clean, quiet, comfortable beds, ample parking including store for bikes, sizable bathroom with copious amounts of hot water, excellent breakfast and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside with only a short trip to visit the nearest town Duras. The swimming pool was clean and inviting but I did not venture in. It was the attention to detail that sets this accommodation apart from similar BnBs."

"The room was very clean, neat, with history to it. There is a swimming pool that can be seen from our window, which was also very clean, and we had a refreshing swim after walking back from the town. Richard was ever so helpful and accommodating providing a sumptuous breakfast daily as part of the the package. He let us wash our clothes in his washing machine for 10 euros. He even lit some candles for us for dinner in the garden! I could go on raving about the hospitality of Richard and Jeanette, but that would make this message too long! Thanks again!! "The property is about 30 mins walk from Duras and the town, and it was a hot day. Though Richard even offered to drive us to town and we walked back."

"A beautiful oasis in the French countryside. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and fully outfitted kitchen. There was a peaceful patio overlooking a lush garden. Chilling by the pool was just what we needed on these last days of summer. Jo and David were wonderful hosts who obviously take pride in their property, and were very helpful in planning adventures in the area near the property. Will definitely be back!"

I had not used the digital key system before but it worked well ad when there was an issue (my fault, not reading the instructions) they responded immediately avd very helpfully. The apartment was cosy and well designed: one double room, two small rooms with bunk beds, one sofa bed."

"We stayed here because it was close to where friends live in Pontault Combault. It was very roomy clean and comfortable, perfect for our purposes. There’s a short walk to a bakery. The host met us on arrival, very easy to find and check in. Highly recommend."

"Our stay in Peyriac de Mer was truly wonderful, and in a large part thanks to Madeleine and her advice on walks, exploring the region, restaurants and cafés, and of course her impeccable hosting. Our room was larger than we expected and beautifully decorated, and the beds super comfortable with high quality linen sheets. We both slept really well every night! The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, and I'm sure in the summer the pool and garden would be ideal. Thank you so much for everything, we will be back :)"
