Located just 850 metres from Puy-du-Fou Theme Park, La Trainelière offers a garden, terrace and a patio with hot tub. Bicycle rental is possible on site and Cholet is only a 20-minute drive from the property. Free transfers to and from Puy-du-Fou are available, according to availability,. All rooms feature a TV and wardrobe, while one also has a coffee machine and minibar. All of the rooms also have a hydro-massage shower and free toiletries. Bathrobes can be requested for an additional cost. A typical breakfast with regional sweet and savoury produce is provided each morning at La Trainelière. "A beautiful property only 1km from Puy du Fou - we walked from the property for both our 2 day passes and it saved queuing for the car parks. The location is peaceful, beautiful and idyllic."
"The shower was our only ‘didn’t like’. The overhead also sprayed 50% of the water on to the ceiling and subsequently over the shower door on to the bathroom floor. The smaller direct shower only sprayed at the wall. We managed by soaping and rinsing separately. This shower when left pointing at the wall leaked the water out the side of the tray and into the bedroom. With care both the above spillages could be avoided."

"We loved the location of this charming garden apartment surrounded by gorgeous plants and flowers and with a wonderful view towards the snow capped Pyrenees. The property owners were very friendly and welcoming. They live on the property on the upper floors."

"chateau de serrigny is not for you if you like pristine modern hotels. However if you want to immerse yourself in beautiful surroundings and step back in time I urge you to stay here. Yes it is in need of refurbishing but that seems to add to its charm. There's something interesting to look at around each corner and that includes beautiful antique furniture. Our bathroom was spotless and the bed really comfortable. We were served breakfast in the dining room. Apparently it's usually outside which would be lovely but it was raining. I felt as if I'd accidentally sat down at a table during a visit to a stately home.! There seemed to be only one member of staff during our stay. he was very helpful and on hand if you need anything. We booked the chateau to break our journey from the alps to Reims but I would definitely stay there again."

Staff were very accommodating & helpful. We were able to leave our bags with staff before check in. Lovely local restaurant nearby corner. 5min walk to other local cafes, restaurants & supermarket. Possible to see Eiffel Tower depending on room."
