"Our host sent very clear instructions in advance, then met us when we arrived, giving us a tour. She was incredibly friendly! The place itself felt very homely, and the kitchen was well-equipped for dinner for two. The bed was comfy, and the property was incredibly sound-proof - we were there for a public holiday, and there was a party next door, but the moment we closed the door, the outside world disappeared and we couldn't hear anything."

"This little house has two levels. Downstairs is quite spacious and we liked the very well-equipped kitchenette, a little table with dining chairs and a comfortable sofa. Upstairs, the mattress on the bed was firm and comfortable. Parking is just outside. The location is quiet and Neuville-aux-Bois is a small town quite remote from major roads. Beatrice is a friendly and helpful host."

"The bedroom seems to have been created from the roof space so the ceiling slopes quite steeply from one side to the other, so even a short person can’t stand upright on one side of the bed. So you have to remember to stoop, otherwise you risk banging your head! I don’t think there’s really anything that can be done about it, as it’s integral to the conversion, and it didn’t detract much from our enjoyment of the gite."

"The hosts are great and speak very good english. They have the most friendly 2 labradors that you can play with if you so desire. Adorable!! One of them is named Lego! They have a huge yard and you can safely park your car. The apartment is very cute, bright and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped."
