"From being greeted to our departure, we were treated to wonderful hospitality and food. We always try and stay at small bijou places and La Perle Secrete with Peter and Mario exceeded our expectations. We certainly would recommend anyone to make a detour here to stay. Do NOT miss the fabulous multi course dinner."

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming property! The house, an ancient gem full of character, is located in the heart of the typical French countryside. Peter and Mario are exceptional hosts who truly understand the art of hospitality. They made us feel welcome and attended to our every need. The food was outstanding and a highlight of our stay."

"Breakfast was truly amazing. Such a selection of high quality foods, it was very hard to choose. Presented beautifully every morning. We also had the evening meal, and again each course was fantastic, once paired with the wine, cheeses and hosts we were very happy. The gardens and house were also absolutely lovely and we enjoyed our break immensely. Oh and of course the gorgeous dogs too. We were made to feel very welcome by Peter and Mario and we definitely hope to return in the future. Thank you both!"

"The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hosts are charming and very helpful. They provide a feast of a breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble."

"The directions on Apple Maps given from the link on booking.com weren’t correct. The stairs to the first floor are very steep and challenging to negotiate. The owner plans to change them next year."

"We loved the whole house! So pretty and cosy! It felt like we were stepping into some magical cottage, tucked away in beautiful countryside on the cusp of a forest and full of light and warmth in those times of Christmas festivities. Peter and Mario are the most charming hosts and made us feel wonderfully welcome. Breakfast was scrumptious and plentiful. We will absolutely come back!"
